Boy Scout Nathan Logan Service

MMA Cadet and rising star Boy Scout Nathan Logan cheerfully volunteered his Saturday liberty on May 5th to assist a fellow Boy Scout complete his Eagle Leadership Service Project. Kevin Fite of local Harlingen Troop 206 committed to a large-sized exterior building lower skirt area that required repairs, surface cleaning and prep, primer and final finish painting at the Spay and Neuter clinic of the Harlingen Humane Society. Nathan Logan generously gave his time in joining with Team Fite. The boys spent many hours in hot, challenging conditions, and steadily and successfully completed the job to a high standard of workmanship. Kevin Fite’s older brother Sam graduated from MMA in 2009 and earned Eagle Scout that same year while a member of MMA Troop 22.
Boy Scout Logan’s Reward!
For his sincere benevolence, Nathan was rewarded with a McDonald’s combo meal of choice. He then succeeded in making 10 Chicken McNuggets and fries disappear nearly as quickly as you can say “disappear!” He proudly modeled his new student painter’s shirt. Additionally, Nathan Logan has volunteered to assist yet another Eagle Scout candidate from Boy Scout Troop 206 complete his leadership project on Saturday, May 12th.
Cadet-Scout Nathan Logan has proven himself an impressive cadet and an unselfish young man. He has demonstrated leadership and Scout Spirit to the highest degree. He sets a fine example for everyone. WAY to go Nathan!!
