Marine Military Academy received the National Yearbook Program of Excellence award from Jostens for its 2014 Pass in Review. This award recognizes the most dynamic and engaging school yearbooks as well as the staffs and advisers who create them. MMA was the only school in the Rio Grande Valley to receive this award for the 2013-14 school year.
This is the second time MMA has been recognized by Jostens. Under the leadership of teacher Jodie Stryker, MMA received the National Yearbook Program of Excellence award for its 2012 Pass in Review.
The cadets on the 2013-14 yearbook staff were: junior Diego Espinosa Valdéz of Monterrey, Mexico; senior Falco Fematt Rodríguez of Monterrey, Mexico; senior Emiliano Hernandez-Summers of Santa Rosa, Calif.; junior Yuri Juárez Segón of Mexico City; senior Bruno López Álvarez of Mexico City; junior Daniel López Álvarez of Mexico City; sophomore Joshua Myers Johnson of Uniondale, N.Y.; junior Spencer Pascal of Westfield, N.J.; senior Brian Rodriguez of Sylmar, Calif.; senior Firas Sandakli of Houston; junior Josh Talley of McAllen, Texas; senior Julian Vandamme of Panama City; senior Ivan Vidishev of Spring, Texas; sophomore Robert Walter III of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; and junior Robert Weedn of Tomball, Texas.

The Pass in Review is released in mid-May. All cadets receive this keepsake, and a yearbook signing party is held every year. The 2014 Pass in Review has 288 pages.
