More than 300 alumni returned to Harlingen, Texas, for Marine Military Academy’s 50th Anniversary Alumni Reunion April 1-2. From the inaugural Class of 1966 to the most recent Class of 2015, an alumnus from nearly every graduating class was present at this landmark event.
Most of the alumni reunited on April 1 at the MMA Alumni Reunion Parade. They gathered again on April 2 at the Alumni Reunion Dinner held at South Padre Island.
In addition to alumni, hundreds of spouses, children, and friends attended the reunion. In fact, it was quite common to see fathers and sons who graduated from MMA decades apart celebrate as “brothers.”
