This is the second article in the series spotlighting <i>international students<\/i> at Marine Military Academy.\u00a0 The Academy has almost 30% <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">international students<\/span> and their accomplishments are both significant and varied.\u00a0 Each of the students has provided their own comments and the information in this article is in their own words.<\/p>\n<h2>International Students Interviews<\/h2>\n<h3>Cadet Wu Yang Yi<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wu.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-8806\" title=\"wu\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wu-300x277.jpg\" alt=\"international students\" width=\"300\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wu-300x277.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/wu.jpg 752w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Place of Birth: Beijing, china<br \/>\nAge: 14<br \/>\nYear: Freshman<br \/>\nYears at MMA: 1st<br \/>\nRank: Cadet Private<br \/>\nClass Rank: N\/A<br \/>\nGPA: 2.71<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I came to MMA because my friend Jiang came here first and he said the school is very good.\u00a0 He introduced me to the school so I came as a summer camper in 2012.\u00a0 Cadet Jiang was also my Cadet Instructor for the summer.\u00a0 He taught me a lot of things so when summer camp finished I discovered I loved this place so I came to MMA.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What I like most about MMA is the Back 40 (LEAD Complex).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;MMA tells me what is real, what is Marine Corps and it teaches me knowledge and helps me to grow my muscles.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cadet Wu is a member of the MMA Rock Climbing Team.\u00a0 His first introduction to rock climbing was during summer camp 2012 and he thoroughly loves the sport.\u00a0 He has shown outstanding grasp of the sport and is improving daily.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Cadet Falco Fematt<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fematt.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-8891\" title=\"fematt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fematt-300x265.jpg\" alt=\"international students\" width=\"300\" height=\"265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fematt-300x265.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fematt.jpg 785w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Place of Birth: Monterey, Mexico<br \/>\nAge: 17<br \/>\nYear: Junior<br \/>\nYears at MMA: 4<br \/>\nRank: Cadet Private<br \/>\nClass Rank: 11 of 48<br \/>\nGPA: 3.41<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I first found out about MMA was in June 2008.
