MMA has its own <i>paintball<\/i> course, guns and recharging capability. It also has over 40 <u>paintball<\/u> guns and all associated protective gear to ensure the safety of participants.\u00a0\u00a0The course features numerous ditches, craters, cement pipes, wooden barricades and a two-story house.<\/p>\n<p>The course is run under close supervision of MMA staff and is not available for cadet use without staff supervision. The course is located on the north side of the campus within easy walking distance from the barracks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Paintball Competitions<\/h2>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1769\" title=\"paintball3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball3-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"paintball\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball3-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball3.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Summer campers are scheduled to participate in paintball competitions several times during their four-week program.\u00a0 Campers are divided into teams, with each team placed at the two ends of the course. Each team must attempt to defeat all membes of the opposing team in the time allotted.\u00a0Any player hit on any part of the body is considered out of the competition and leaves the course.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Staff members ensure that any member hit leaves the course by raising their arms above their head and walks off the course.\u00a0 Safety of all participants is the highest priority at all times when running the course. Paintball is routinely rated as one of the top events by summer campers.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0Paintball During School Year<\/h3>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball42.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1776\" title=\"paintball4\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball42-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Paintball\"width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball42-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mma-tx.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/paintball42.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>In addition to summer camp paintball, cadets are introduced to this activity during their Plebe Orientation and are allowed to have their own paintball guns and equipment. All personal paintball equipment is required to be held by the Drill\u00a0 Instructors and can be checked out when the course is run.\u00a0 Cadets may request to have the course run on weekends through the\u00a0MMA staff member that oversees the course operation.
