<\/a>The Academic Awards<\/b> Ceremony for the first semester of the 2011-12 school year was held on Feb. 3 at Yeckel Auditorium.\u00a0The Academy Superintendent, Col. R.G. Hill and the Dean, Dr. John Butler presented 39 cadets with a\u00a0Gold or\u00a0Silver Wreath, representing the highest level of academic achievement.\u00a0 The Silver Wreath is awarded to cadets who make the Dean’s List, which requires a grade-point-average of 3.5 to 3.74. The Gold Wreath is awarded to cadets who make the President’s List, which requires a grade-point-average of 3.75 to 4.0. The\u00a0cadets wear their wreath on their uniform throughout the year.<\/p>\nCadets Receiving Academic Awards<\/h2>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Golf Academic Awards<\/h3>\n
