La Joya ISD Cadets Visit MMA The JROTC Cadets from La Joya ISD visited the Marine Military Academy on Saturday, 19 Nove 2011 to take part in our Back 40 events. Cadets particpated in rapelling, zipline, high ropes, leadership reaction course, confidence course and circuit course throughout the day. Check out all the photos here

Rapel Tower Upgrade The Marine Military Academy Rapel tower is undergoing an upgrade to the frame that supports the camo netting during the summer months. In addition work is being done on the railing to replace some that is showing signs of age. Work will be completed by the time Cadets return from Thanksgiving break. The tower is used for rapel training, rock climbing and has a 350′ zipline.
