It is measured by the life goals our graduates set out to achieve, the passion and pride they pour into their work and the leadership and commitment they exude in their professional and personal lives. There are countless success stories to share, but below are just several graduate snapshots.

Lt Winston Elliott IV attended the University of Georgia in Athens on an Army ROTC scholarship. Upon graduating in May 2009, Lt Elliott received a commission to the U.S. Army. Today, he is a platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne Division in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He is originally from Houston, Texas.

Alberto Abed, Class of 2011, is currently attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Abed is majoring in business administration and minoring in aviation. He will graduate in May 2015. In the summer of 2012, Abed will be a contract jet pilot for the United Nations and fly on peacekeeping and humanitarian missions. He is originally from Mexico City.

Josh Gasaway graduated from Texas A & M University in College Station in 2009 with degrees in speech communications and English and was also involved in missionary work at an orphanage in Kenya. Now, Gasaway works for Covenant School of Dallas where he is a full-time English teacher and the defensive coordinator for the Covenant Knights football team. Gasaway is originally from Mercedes, Texas.

Michael Karfunkle attends the University of Chicago where he is majoring in physics and works as a research assistant in cosmological physics. After he earns his Bachelor’s Degree in June 2013, Karfunkel will pursue his Master's Degree and Doctorate Degree, most likely in computer science and biophysics, respectively. He is originally from Spring, Texas.

Capt. Miller David “Trae” Miller, Jr. received his commission to the U.S. Marine Corps upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in May 2010. Today, he is an infantry company executive officer based in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He is originally from Harlingen, Texas

Scott Miller graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2009. After graduating with a finance degree, he went to work for T.D. Ameritrade in Austin. Today, he is an investment consultant earning his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Miller is originally from Arlington, Texas.

David Nekyi graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2010. He now attends Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Upon graduation in 2014, Nekuyi he plans to join a practice in the Dallas area. Nekuyi is originally from San Antonio.

Wences Romo is a successful recording artist within the Tejano and Norteño genres. When he is not performing a concert in Mexico or the United States, Romo is writing pop, rock and Tejano/Norteño songs for other popular artists in his native Mexico. Today, he splits his time between San Antonio and his hometown of Monterrey, Mexico.
