Marine Military Academy promotes the values and traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps to best prepare our cadets for college and beyond.

Marine Military Academy is unique when compared to other military academies due to our focus on the values and traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps. MMA encourages each and every one of our cadets to strive for excellence in order to realize their full potential. While other teenagers may be cutting corners and not attempting to do their best, students at MMA are being taught important life lessons and skills that will prepare them for a successful college career, as well as when they enter the job market.

MMA: Our Mission

We work with our cadets to promote excellence through academics and athletics, along with various other activities to increase a cadet’s sense of morality and self-worth. We recognize that each one of our students comes to us with their own set of strengths and weaknesses; at MMA we strive to foster those strengths while finding solutions for weakness. Each one of our highly trained staff members is personally invested in helping our students become strong, responsible, self-assured young men. Upon graduation, we want each cadet to leave our institution with unique skills and tools that will benefit him for the rest of his life.

At MMA, we employ a rank system for our cadets that is very similar to the rankings found in the U.S. Marine Corps. We have found that using this type of system gives our cadets the opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills while developing their character. As a cadet achieves excellent grades and displays maturity, respect and good decision making skills, he will move up in rank. Higher ranking cadets are given increased responsibility along with increased privileges.
