Military High Schools

Marine Military Academy is committed to academic excellence.

Military Marine Academy (MMA) prides itself on providing a structured environment, where rules are enforced, to help prepare young men for college. Our main focus is on building the total person, by helping teenage boys develop academically, physically, spiritually and morally.

Our program has experienced a high level of success when it comes to preparing our cadets for college. Nearly 97% of the students who graduate from MMA are accepted into post-secondary educational institutions—a statistic that is exceedingly higher than the average high school. Of the 97% who attend college, 80% are accepted into four-year colleges and universities, while the remaining enroll in community college. Over the years, MMA alumni have attended top-tier colleges and universities all over the country as well as our nation’s service academies.

MMA Offers Small Class Sizes And An Emphasis On Academics

Our institution is made up of a diverse group of students from all different backgrounds. Although each cadet attends MMA for his own reasons, parents can rest assured that choosing it is an investment in their son’s future, as Marine Military Academy is a top-ranked military high school, with a proven track record of graduates who go on to be successful in their lives.

MMA’s Academic Department has developed a curriculum that is challenging and innovative. Our staff and faculty are highly trained, and their main goal is to encourage each student to achieve their personal best academically. Advanced Placement classes, along with Honors and dual-enrollment courses are available for our students to pursue.

Our dedicated College Placement program offers both individual and group counseling for cadets in all grades. Students in their junior and senior year have individually scheduled appointments to discuss their post-graduation goals. Each cadet takes a one-semester, intense SAT prep course to prepare him for this important test. Additional services of the College Placement Office include: post-secondary education planning, scholarship and financial aid guidance, career counseling and assistance with college applications.
