Our expectation is that 100% of our graduating class will attend college. Academy graduates receive acceptances to competitive universities throughout the United States and the world. They attend universities such as Stanford, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale, University of Texas Austin and many others.  Our graduates have become successful professionals -- doctors, lawyers, engineers, airline pilots…

The Academy develops disciplined, morally strong, college ready young men who are prepared for responsible leadership. We challenge each student to strive for excellence and his highest potential. The goals for personal excellence extend through academics, athletics, moral and other personal endeavors.

The 142-acre campus includes three primary academic buildings, a library, a 1000-seat auditorium, six dormitories, three gyms, a student activity center, and numerous athletic fields including a rappelling tower, self-confidence course and a medical facility staffed by two nurses.

Students reside two to a room in one of six dormitories supervised by a male adult and his assistant. They provide the discipline, daily routine, and care for approximately fifty 8th through 12th grade students. He is a surrogate-parent and role model, disciplinarian and mentor, communicator and motivator.  He is the adult who students look to for daily guidance, leadership and instruction.

During the week a student’s schedule is highly regimented but on weekends students may participate in on-campus or community activities others choose to visit town and watch a movie, dine in a restaurant or go shopping.  MMA provides transport for students to and from downtown Harlingen on applicable weekends.
