MMA Football
The Marine Military Academy "Fighting Leathernecks" have been playing football since the school was established in 1965. Through the years, MMA has won state championships, played opponents throughout the entire state, experienced an undefeated season, and played in neighboring states. Numerous athletes have received athletic scholarships to major colleges and universities and there are presently five former players active in the National Football League.Varsity players are made up of grades 9 through 12,with the reporting date for fall practice around the first of August.
