Band

The Marine Military Academy band is an integral part of our school, and provides support for a variety of events that are essential to our military program.

Instructed by CWO 3 Edward Harris, the Leatherneck Band is comprised of musicians of all levels. The band provides members with an environment that reinforces teamwork, critical analysis and increased awareness of self-image, as well as enables cadets to engage multiple intelligences.

MMA Ambassadors

The MMA band performs daily for the pass in review sequence, leading the Corps of Cadets as they march for review prior to the lunch hour, as well as for every special event that includes a parade. 

Additionally, the band travels throughout the southern region of the United States serving as an ambassador for MMA and performing in both competitive and non-competitive events, such as the annual Mardi Gras celebrations in Lafayette, Louisiana.
