MMA Baseball Team
The varsity Baseball program was started in 1983. Approximately 25 players are selected to represent MMA during a season that starts in January and runs through April. The Leathernecks play a schedule that includes teams in the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi. MMA was crowned State Champions in 1991. Presently the Leathernecks compete in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. Varsity players are expected to have a working knowledge of the game and some previous experience.
