Life is a lot like a high school math class. Every time you get one problem solved, the teacher is waiting to give you another.
Focus
Each course does not consist of unconnected topics that can be studied once, mastered, and then neglected. A total assimilation of the skills taught at every level can and will unlock the doors to other mathematically-based disciplines and other non mathematical disciplines. We can't make every Cadet love, or even like mathematics, but we can possibly allow your son to achieve his goals and ambitions through the study of mathematics. The math department strives to help all Cadets develop problem solving skills and higher order thinking skills in an attempt to ensure success in their college careers.
